KIWI GRAPE CHILLER SMOOTHIE
You can throw just about anything in a fruit smoothie to enhance its flavor such as honey, tofu, jams, any combination of fruits, peanut butter, juices, etc., but keep in mind it will affect the nutritional values.
In Blender or food processor, combine:
2 cups seedless green grapes 2 kiwifruits, peeled and quartered 1 cup white grape juice, like Welch's and 2 cups ice cubes.
Blend 2 minutes, or until mixture is smooth. Divide mixture evenly among 6 glasses.
Garnish glasses with kiwifruit slices, grapes and edible flowers, if desired.
Fruits such as oranges, grapefruit, kiwi, melons and strawberries are excellent sources of Vitamin C.
Based on the data published in the international scientific literature and the U.S. Food and Drug Administrationís approved legal definition of a good (>10% of the daily value ) or excellent (>20% of the daily value) source, Kiwi fruit may be classified as an excellent source of vitamin C as well as dietary fiber. By the FDA's definition, kiwifruit would also be a good source of vitamin E and potassium. Kiwifruit is low fat and contains no cholesterol.
